Last of the First

so this is the new year

came in on borrowed tires, they're now gone.

started things off by saying goodbye
to a healthy two-year-sized chunk of my life

had two jobs but now i think it's one

haven't checked on the other but i doubt anyone's holding their breath yet.

grown closer to people who'll be there through most of it (pretty sure)
as is expected

remembered old friends, made new ones, realized commitment/conviction

had a wish, now it's a hope, a plan, a deadline.

...tomorrow.

so this is me holding my breath.
